The
Car Club Challenge Association (CCCA) was created in 1999 to promote
street legal drag racing between car clubs in the Pacific Northwest!
The CCCA drag race series takes place at both Pacific Raceways and
Bremerton Raceways on these dates.
The CCCA offers an opportunity for any group of people to join together
and create a team that can compete. It's an alternative to street
racing which has been a major problem in Western Washington. It gives
an outlet for people who want to competitively race their cars while
learning about the sport of drag racing. It's a competitive series that
also caters to the beginning racer who wants to learn more about drag
racing.
We have about 16 different car clubs competing in the series for points
and ultimately trophies. Trophies are awarded at each race as well as
at the end of the season.
The series is staffed by volunteers (fellow racers) who work very
diligently to perserve the integrity of the series and ensure open
communication between the racers, our sponsors and the tracks.
Joining the series is easy:
Gather your team
Advise the Race Director that you'll be competing so that you can be
assigned a team number
Ensure that your team is familiar with all of the rules and requirements
Show up on race day to compete.
